Data Deletion Instructions

Your right to delete your data

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data held by SnowLinks at any time. This includes your profile information, trip details, and any data collected via Facebook Login.

How to delete your data

You can request deletion of your data in two ways:

  1. From the app: Sign in to SnowLinks, go to your profile settings, and select "Delete my account". This will permanently remove all your data from our systems.
  2. By email: Send a deletion request to admin@snowlinks.com.au from the email address associated with your account. Include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.

What data is deleted

Upon deletion, we will permanently remove:

  • Your profile information (name, photo, bio, preferences)
  • Your trip details and matching history
  • Your account credentials and login data
  • Any messages or interactions stored on our platform

Revoking Facebook permissions

If you signed in with Facebook, you can also revoke SnowLinks' access to your Facebook data directly from Facebook:

  1. Go to your Facebook account settings
  2. Select Security and Login → Apps and Websites
  3. Find SnowLinks and select Remove

Note: Revoking Facebook permissions removes SnowLinks' access to your Facebook account but does not delete your SnowLinks account data. To delete your SnowLinks data, follow the steps above.
